GGI’s Eloho Otobo cited by BBC on Africa, China and Human Rights



Eloho Otobo, Non-Resident Senior Fellow at GGI’s Peace and Security and Global Economy sections was interviewed by the BBC on the topic of Human rights in Africa in the context of China’s and the West’s approaches to the issue. Otobo commented on the rising consensus between China and African leaders when it comes to human rights, economic interests and -increasingly- voting in core UN bodies. Otobo also calls for a stronger engagement of the West and active alternative to China’s Belt and Road initiative in relations with Africa.
