Megan Whipple holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in History from the University of North Florida, graduating Summa Cum Laude in the Fall of 2023. She is currently a graduate student earning her Master’s Degree in International Relations and a Certificate of Advanced Study in the European Union and Contemporary Europe from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. Megan has extensive experience in non-profits in her home state of Florida, where she advanced local educational initiatives, mentorship programs, and a lecture series to promote awareness and proficiency in international affairs with The World Affairs Council of Jacksonville. She also served as Impact Officer in the Global Shapers Jax Hub, assisting in climate change awareness campaigns and the start-up of a food security project. Her interest areas include transatlantic diplomacy, climate change, energy, and human rights, writing several papers and research proposals regarding energy resilience and U.S.-EU relations during her studies.
