On 6 April 2026, GGI’s David Timis was interviewed for the Special Competitive Studies Project’s President's Tech Brief to discuss AI, work, and workforce dynamics. In his intervention, he focused on the growing role of AI agents across sectors, the gap between the capabilities of current AI systems and their still limited use in practice, and the evolving European debate on AI from regulation towards simplification and competitiveness. He also argued that prompting should not be seen as a passing trend, but as a broader and transferable skill tied to asking better questions, providing context, and working effectively with increasingly agentic AI systems.
