Gaia Messina is a Visiting Fellow who contributes to research activities within the Global Education section, focusing on educational cooperation and the role of EU policies in making higher education more interconnected and accessible across Europe. She graduated with a degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Parma and completed an Erasmus+ exchange at the University of Valencia. She is currently attending the Master's programme Leadership for International Relations and Made in Italy organised by the Fondazione Italia USA. She also completed an internship with Erasmus Mondego in Coimbra, Portugal, supporting European project management and international mobility activities.
